This year, the additional categories reflected the increased quality of scientific research achieved by DTU lecturers.

On July 5, the State Council of Professorship announced its decision to authorize three additional categories in scientific journals to be included and accumulate more publication points. As a result, the 2023 Duy Tan University Journal of Science & Technology points increased by 11. The interdisciplinary fields of Philosophy - Politics - Sociology and Automotive Engineering accounted for 0.25 points for the first time, while the field of Chemistry - Food Technology increased from 0.25 points to 0.5 points.
