Brock University is one of the top post-secondary institutions of Canada. Located in the Niagara region, this public research university was established by the Brock University Act's passage by the Ontario's Legislative Assembly in the year 1964. It is the only university in the country in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, at the center of Niagara Peninsula of Canada on the Niagara Escarpment. In the year 2019, U.S. News and World Report, the university was ranked 1010 under the category of Best Global University Rankings.

Each year, more than $11 million in awards and bursaries are made available to students through a wide variety of initiatives.
The Alumni Association of the university is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. The rising global stature of the Brock University of Canada is accredited to its remarkable alumni network which includes over 100,000 alumni across the world.
