Assistant Manager (Marketing and Events) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the School of Computing and Data Science (Ref: 531155) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
With the establishment of the School of Computing and Data Science, we are seeking a savvy and dynamic individual to support a team to drive the School's branding and marketing initiatives to support the School's goals and objectives. This role entails working in a small team to support the marketing communications strategy and the planning and execution of PR events related to admissions, departmental seminars, conferences, and more. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, possess a creative approach to problem-solving, and have the ability to effectively leverage media and industry trends for successful campaigns in the higher education sector. They should excel at multitasking and strategic planning, demonstrating a proactive mindset in driving innovative marketing initiatives.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and have at least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in digital marketing and event management. Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong computer skills, graphic design abilities, and proven event management experience are desired.
