About the Role
We're looking for motivated, outgoing people to join our canvassing team in Houston. You'll go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods, talking with residents, sharing information about our organization, and gathering responses. The work is straightforward, but it matters — you're the face of the campaign on the ground.
What you'll do
- Knock doors in assigned Houston-area neighborhoods following a daily route - Engage residents in brief, friendly conversations about our work - Collect data and record responses accurately using a mobile app or paper forms - Meet daily door and contact quotas - Report back to the team lead at the end of each shift
About you
- Comfortable talking with strangers and handling rejection without taking it personally - Reliable — you show up on time and complete your route - Physically able to walk several miles per shift in varying weather - Smartphone proficiency helpful for data entry
No prior canvassing experience required. Training provided on day one.
