The Facilities Team at FXPlus are seeking to recruit a full-time Caretaker to join our friendly, close-knit team at FX Plus's Penryn and Falmouth campuses. You will be providing a high-quality caretaking service to support staff, students, public and visitors alike.
The caretaking department is responsible for a variety of duties to ensure the campus buildings and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard, and the student experience is fulfilled. These duties include waste and recycling management, porterage duties, daily external cleaning tasks and driving the company vehicles.
You will be working on campuses that are full of creative minds, set within beautiful, vibrant, and subtropical grounds.

As Caretakers you will be able to work to deadlines within a team and independently, with a keen appreciation of working to a high standard whilst adhering to health and safety requirements.
This is a varied and exciting role, where you will enjoy working with many different teams including, academics, staff, students, and visitors alike. Therefore, you must have great communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of personnel.
We are looking for applicants with a customer focused background, who are prepared to work within a busy and physically active role. Although not essential, experience with waste management and general caretaking duties would be welcomed, as well as a knowledge of health and safety guidelines. You should also possess a full, clean manual driving licence.

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract working 8.00 am to 16.00 pm, 5 out of 7 days, working 1 weekend out of 5.
