The purpose of this application is for applicants to be potentially considered for multiple Faculty of Engineering honours scholarships, depending on individual scholarship criteria.

Eligibility Criteria To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria: |
Selection Criteria |
Honourable Jack Beale Award in Engineering (UGCA1005) |
- Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders), or a New Zealand Citizen
- Be currently enrolled full-time undergraduate study (single or double) in one of the following degree programs:
- Civil Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Be enrolled in the required research thesis courses over the academic year

- Academic merit
- Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
- Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of water resources and the environment within the UNSW School of Civil and Environmental Engineering

Craig John Hastings Smith Surveying Engineering Honours Year Award (UGCA1612) |
- Be Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen
- Be commencing full-time undergraduate study (single or double degree) in the following degree program:
- Surveying Engineering (Honours)
- Be enrolled in the required research thesis courses over the academic year

- Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experiences)
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of Surveying

Royston Honours Award in Chemical Engineering (UGCA1211)

- Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders), or a New Zealand Citizen
- Be commencing full-time undergraduate study (single or double degree) in the following degree program:
- Be undertaking Honours year

- Academic merit
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in the form of an Honours research thesis in one of the following areas: Mineral Processing, Fuel Technology or similar as determined by the Head of School

Selection Criteria
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship, where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/or selection criteria.
