| Job Description | This is a full-time, 9-month position. The faculty member must instruct assigned courses in accordance with NCCCS curriculum standards and course descriptions in addition to the standards and guidelines set forth by the program accreditation entity. Courses may be scheduled during the day, evening, or on weekends, and in Wilkes Community College’s (WCC) service area (Wilkes, Ashe, and/or Alleghany) and at high schools. WCC views faculty members as learning-facilitators who actively engage students in the learning process. |

| Required Qualifications |
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline of Accounting. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Experience teaching college-level communication courses in seated, online, and blended formats is preferred. |
| Physical Demands | This position operates in a professional academic office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This position regularly requires long hours and some weekend work. Travel as appropriate to achieve community college objectives, attend meetings, and implement strategic initiatives. The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position successfully. The position may require travel among instructional locations within the College’s service area, including Wilkes, Ashe, and Alleghany counties, as well as occasional travel to meetings, professional development activities, or other College-related events.
