Position Summary Information

Position Summary	The Leadership Giving Officer is an early-career fundraising professional responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors in support of the University’s comprehensive fundraising campaign. This position will manage a portfolio of prospective and current donors with the goal of securing gifts in the $1,000–$5,000 range and advancing donors through the full fundraising cycle.The University is currently in the public phase of a $35 million comprehensive campaign. The Leadership Giving Officer will play an important role in helping build campaign momentum and expand the University’s base of leadership-level donors.
Minimum Qualifications	1-3 years fundraising or sales experience or equivalent experience (higher ed or direct sales experience preferred) Ability and willingness to travel Experience working with diverse populations Successful performance in an interview and passing a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications	Bachelor’s deree Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skillsAbility to analyze and manage competing priorities in a complex environmentProven ability to work independentlyKnowledge of prospect management systems and fund raising software
