Offer Description
Location: MetaMind Innovations P.C., Kozani or Thessaloniki, Greece.
Employment: Fix-term; full-time (40 hours)
Type: Information Technology/Engineering/Research
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relative fields;
Strong experience with Python;
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware;
Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching;
Experience with network traffic analysis and visualisation tools, such as
Tcpdump and Wireshark;
Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), such as OpenFlow,
Ryu, ONOS, OpenDaylight and Open vSwitch;
Experience with firewalls and intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
(IDPS) like Snort, Suricata, Bro, Ossec, etc.;
Experience with penetration testing tools and operating systems, such as
Kali Linux, Scapy, Metasploit, Nmap, OpenVAS, Nessus, etc.
Experience with deep packet inspection techniques and network flow
analysers, such as nDPI, NFStream, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
MSc or PhD degree in cybersecurity or a relative field;
Experience with virtualisation, containerisation and orchestration
solutions, such as Network Function Virtualisation (NFV), Docker, Docker
Compose, and Kubernetes;
Experience with Blockchain technologies;
Experience with 5G Network Functions (NF), such as AMF, SMF, UPF, etc.;
Experience with AI-powered cybersecurity applications, such as Machine
Learning (ML)-based IDPS;
Experience with honeypots;
Experience with threat modelling;
Experience with risk assessment methods;
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
Experience with Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe Research and Development
(R&D) projects;
Responsibilities
Development and deployment of SDN solutions;
Threat modelling and vulnerability analysis;
Development and deployment of intrusion detection systems and honeypots;
Development of threat intelligence mechanisms;
Development of attack generators and penetration testing tools;
Interpretation and analysis of security logs;
Production of intrusion detection datasets;
Supporting cybersecurity-related analytics and predictive models;
Editing, authoring and delivery of technical reports and deliverables;
Participation in technical meetings.
