  • About the role The Melbourne Institute is seeking a distinguished Professorial/Principal Fellow or Enterprise Professor/Enterprise Fellow to lead and shape research and engagement in Macroeconomic Modelling, with a focus on Forecasting and Policy Analysis. As a key member of the Melbourne Institute's leadership team, you will:

  • Drive groundbreaking research in macroeconomics.
  • Foster connections with government and industry.
  • Contribute to shaping Australian economic and social policy.
  • Who We Are Looking For We seek an exceptional Professorial/Principal Fellow or Enterprise Professor/Enterprise Fellow with a deep understanding of the Australian economic landscape and a proven track record of impactful research to join our dynamic team.

    You will also have:

  • A PhD or equivalent in economics or a related field.
  • A distinguished record of high-quality research publications in leading academic journals.
  • A proven ability to secure competitive research funding
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and supervise research staff and PhD students.
  • A strong commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive research environment.
