About the role
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
The Variable Hours Officer will report to the Principal Investigator of clinical research projects that the research officer is engaged in. Under the supervision of the investigators, the officer will help develop and implement clinical research protocols and provide support in conducting research procedures including study visits and institutional review board regulatory requirements. This will include data collection, entry, queries and analysis. The VHO may also interface with electronic health records, nursing, radiology, information technology services, and others as needed to set up and maintain data platform(s). Engagement in team communication and meetings will be expected. Opportunities in scholarly activities and scientific writing along with ongoing training will be provided.
