About the position
A Level B Clinical Practitioner is expected to engage in supervision of students participating in practical training in clinical and professional settings, and to participate in teaching and activities related to placement and practical training, such as sourcing and supporting placements, marking, subject development and moderation of online learning.
The successful applicant will work closely with other members of our team to support students undertaking postgraduate training in psychology, ensuring that we deliver an outstanding student experience.
Only experienced registered psychologists who are Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisors are eligible to apply.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
• PhD or Masters degree or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.
• Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and:
• Proven ability to provide effective supervision for postgraduate psychology students.
• Extensive knowledge of the registration requirements for students undertaking professional psychology placements and internships, including familiarity with a range of existing and new placement providers and with software systems which underpin effective management of placements.
• Ability to engage effectively with external partners to increase student access to placement opportunities.
