Position Summary
INFANT is now accepting applications for a Senior Research Coordinator – Maternal & Infant Clinical Data Manager with data extraction and data management skills to work on the Elevate Programme. The Maternal & Infant Clinical Data Manager will work across several work packages in ELEVATE to extract multiple relevant data types deriving out of existing databases and the Maternal and Newborn Clinical Management System (MN-CMS).
The Senior Research Coordinator - Maternal & Infant Clinical Data Manager will require excellent data management and data analysis skills in addition to extensive understanding of the data sources and their governance. The Senior Research Coordinator - Maternal & Infant Clinical Data Manager will be required to ensure that the correct data required for studies is identified and extracted efficiently and with minimal delay. The Maternal & Infant Clinical Data Manager will prepare protocols, data capture documentation, data transfer agreements and other documents required to ensure that procedures are fully adhered to, and that data privacy and contractual obligations are fully met. They will work in a multidisciplinary project team to ensure that the data being extracted is complete, usable and suitably structured for the project needs. Data will also be used to develop machine learning models for the preventions and early detection of Cerebral palsy and the Maternal & Infant Clinical Data Manager will need to work closely with the Data project team in the ELEVATE project. They will co-ordinate with the various Hospital and University units to establish data transfer agreements as appropriate and oversee the extraction of data located within different systems.
The post holder will need to demonstrate experience with best practices around handling and storage of sensitive data, GDPR, ethical requirements, data transfer agreements and storage. The Maternal & Infant Clinical Data Manager will work with machine learning specialists in ELEVATE to ensure that their dependencies are met and that risks that may affect their work are mitigated.
